Please note the original LSM-11 is discontinued and we have no more stock, however we now have two supercession routes available for our customers.

  1. LSM11B (0258104000) - we have spent nine months developing this sensor, it has currently (May 2019) been on continuous test in a 0.9MW peller burner with excellent results. Due to our in-house polishing process it provides an LSM-11 compatible output, and uses the exact same thimble construction as the LSM-11 for best reliability.
  2. The LSM-EMU (available July 2019) is a full featured upgrade with an in-line control unit, using a far more modern sensor. LSM-11 output is modelled precisely. With optional serial digital output the module can also be used as a general purpose O2 measuring device for combustion processes.

Assembled in the UK LSM-11 replacement direct-fit uses our proprietary polishing process to give an LSM-11 compatible output. We've improved our processes and now this sensor gives performance virtually indistinguishable from a real LSM-11. You will require an EMU-BOILER-EXTN-1500 extension cable (reusable) to connect to the boiler's screw terminals.

Features:

  1. Uses sensor of traditional construction, polished using our own processes to give an LSM-11 compatible output. Uses thimble type construction, exactly like an LSM-11
  2. Multiplug gives ease of replacement, extension cable to connect to boiler screw terminals is only needed once
  3. Traditional two-part LSM-11 connectors are available on request
  4. Plug and play - needs no calibration or set-up
  5. Sensing element made in USA
  6. All sensors are bench tested by a technician and calibrated for specific use for this purpose
  7. Please leave multiplug attached, it's an integral part of our calibration system
Please refer to this product as LSM11B, or 0258104000. This will replace all the 025810400x series sensors. These sensors are available immediately and will continue to be available alongside the EMU control box. This sensor requires EMU-BOILER-EXTN-1500 cable (sold separately) to connect from boiler screw terminals junction box to this sensor's 4-way plug. That cable can also be used for the EMU control unit once available.

Custom designed and manufactured in the UK. LSM-11 replacement module allows modern sensors to be used. Sensors sold separately.

This unit provides an exact modelling of the traditional LSM-11 output curve for excess oxygen (lean) outputs as found in biomass combustion processes. Also provides best-fit LSM-11 emulation at rich/lean crossover and in the rich output regime. Compatible with at least three families of narrowband sensor, so reducing to almost zero chances of obsolescence. Available soon.

Features:

  1. Uses sensor element of modern construction, retaining the robustness, long life and simplicity of a narrowband sensor
  2. Precision circuitry models LSM-11 output precisely for the excess oxygen regime (lean) as found in biomass combustion processes.
  3. Plug and forget - needs no dismantling, no assembly, no calibration or set-up procedure at all, even when swapping sensors between types
  4. Rich and lean regimes both supported even on the basic unit. Output response can be shaped to customer requirements if needed
  5. Industrial grade components rated to 110 degrees C ambient temperature, through-hole PCB construction with sealed box to IP54 gives vibration resistance and long life
  6. Multiplugged unit connects directly into where the old LSM-11 fits. No adjustments required. Sensor is multiplugged for decreased downtime. Swap a sensor in under a minute!
  7. 12v AC in standard form, or 12v DC / other voltages on request. Tolerant from 10 volts to around 15 volts in standard form.
  8. Analogue output protection, diode clamped to + / - 5 volts, normal output range is -0.5volts to +1 volt
  9. Optional digital serial output can be used to provide O2 percentage concentration information to control any industrial combustion process. Analogue LSM-11 compatible output is standard
  10. All sensors are bench tested by a technician and pre-calibrated for specific use with this module.

Please re-use the collar adaptor from the old sensor if it has one. This sensor will solve problems associated with sensor output drift - a natural effect of sensor ageing but also caused by contaminants (problem exacerbated by using unclean fuels, eg. painted wood panels etc.) thus making the boiler control system stick in ignition mode and display an error code refusing to enter heating mode.
